There is a new (October 2020) "substantially revised" edition of Heining's biography of George Russell. From now on this is the one to get. I'm tempted to update mine also.

Thanks to Sandy Williams for spotting this! The new edition costs $25, or $9.99 for Kindle - which is a deal since the old one was $76 (and excellent) and this is not only longer it also contains a number of updated observations on the Concept... see Duncan's comments to my question at the link above...

He twice refused concerts of his music at Lincoln Center Jazz because of their early position on what was authentically jazz. So save any speculation about the level of him as an artist and a man.
