Horizontal tonal gravity?

The main body of the LCC and its practical application, including all 4 published versions of Book 1 with their inserts: the 1959 tan cover; the 1959 light green cover Japanese edition; the 1970‘s white cover, which adds an illustrated River Trip to the 1959 edition, and the currently available Fourth Edition, 2001.

The authorization code is the first word on Page 198 of the Fourth Edition of the LCCTO.

Horizontal tonal gravity?

Hi, I'm new here and I own the fourth edition of the LCC, which deals with vertical tonal gravity only. I was wondering if anybody of you who have an earlier version which at least mentions playing horizontally could summarize up shortly. Which scales does he mention there? How does he suggest those scales to be used when playing according to the LCC? Is there anything else that is important to know?
It seems to me that since George Russell has passed away, there have been no plans of releasing a volume two(correct me if I'm wrong), and the older versions cost a lot of money, so I don't want to buy one of them since i already have a book dealing with about half of what's written there.

I appreciate your answers :)

There is a concise summary in the back of the older book, which says:

Horizontal Approach

The prevailing L.C. Scale is determined by one of these three factors:
1. The major or minor tonic station inferred by the resolving tendency of two or more chords.
2. the tonic station inferred by the key of the music (overall major or minor tonic station)
3. your aesthetic judgment.

The current book has horizontal scales listed on p.17. Also check out Conceptual Modal Genres in the new book.

I know it's hard to get a hold of that older book, but it would probably really help. :)

I believe there are a few examples given throughout the forum's history too...
