I don´t remember it!!! about dimished chords.

Hi: I can´t remember how LCC deal with dimished chords, in what category of chords they fit??? In example a Edim chord....I tend to link this chord to a A7b9 because they share the most of the tones in common: E-G-Bb-Db (E dim) and A-C#-E-G-Bb (A7b9). Do you make the same assumption??? Thanks folks,...

Re: A few points:

In a board sense I think you are right. But I think anyway that modern educators believe in LCC but for not be labeled like LCC defenders they simply denied on it, but in his books one can see the subtle influence of this revolutionary way to understand music. In example, every educator point #11 to...

How I use LCC.

Hi: Since a long time in shadows I return to this forum, mainly to share how I use it. I don´t take in account if the melody is composed in LCC or not, or the sense of melody, horizontally or vertically, I wear this system in everything and everywhere, perhaps if I do an improvisation of 3 o 4 round...

I use differents scales for composition, I don´t remember if this scale in particular was used by me. Searching in my compositions I found one called "En el Camino", where I use (remember that I don´t knowed the Concept yet) this collection: C-D-Eb-E-F#-G-Bb, and the chords I wear for ha...

I don´t remember to have read anything like you says in that way, but I must to read again the concepts in the book, but I don´t...

It´s very interesting....., after your posts I tried horizontally to resolve to F major like you say and it´s very useful in this way, but the differents Keys to consider to work opens more and more the scope to diversity in composition. So, the question is what is the more ingoing environment of ...

Putting LCC to work.

Now, I want to order these scales into the tonal orders gived by the book. In example in a scale named Azul with this notes: C-Db-E-F-G#-A-Bb...

To teach this concept.

Hey people, I´m in the organization of a Private Music School, if it´s all ok I will open the school in March 2008. My question is if there is any institution that teach this concept, or a guy I can contact to be advised in the best way to introduce George Russell´s work in the students. Thank you,
